well, we are officially in the green zone meaning this baby can come any time. really! any time would be great- we're ready! last night i thought it was going to happen- it seems like the middle of the night is when we like to work on things. so from midnight to 4am i counted contractions while listening to p. talk in her sleep and d. breath heavy. finally around 4pm i was able to catch a few winks myself and when 7:30am rolled around i felt like i had been run over by a truck. i am hoping i don't have several nights of this as it will definitely cut in to my sleep but if we are making some progress which will mean a smoother labor, well, then maybe it is worth it.
in the meantime, miss p. makes me smile every day and while i once was feeling a nervous about having enough love for two children, i now feel like my heart might just explode open when i meet this little boy. if he is half a delight as miss p. is, we are in for the time of our lives!
we'll keep you posted with our progress- and please, send all your good birthing thoughts our way!

when i was pregnant w/ abigail, i was afraid i would never be able to love any other critter as much as i love hannah. it made me sad for my new little one. everyone i talked to said that it 'just happens.' but i didn't quite believe them until i held miss abigail in my arms...and it 'just happened.'
i also couldn't quite imagine life with 2 and now i cannot imagine it without 2. the time it takes to get from just inside our front door to any other location has grown exponentially, but that's ok.
i have a good feeling about today...want to make your debut, marshmallow. i think it's a good day to be born.
love, aunt jen
Hi Shaymama,
We missed you at lunch yesterday--oh so good, you must go there when you can--, and I told the guys it was driving me crazy knowing you were a few blocks away having contractions and I wanted to visit. This morning it was nice to see your family surrounded by love and Christmas, with snowflakes falling outside. Sorry we missed seeing you, but I hope you had a gooood sleep. Save your strength, and you are all in my thoughts allll the time.
You know how pushy I can be.....so I send you some love and pushy vibes, when the time comes, soon, very soon!
